How do I get started?

2

Getting started is simple. Reach out through email (jaydaguler@bloominspeechllc.com) and we can schedule a FREE 15 minute consultation to determine if a comprehensive evaluation is recommended for your child.

What is a speech sound disorder?

3

A speech sound disorder means a child has difficulty saying certain sounds or words clearly. This may include leaving sounds out, substituting one sound for another, or having speech that is hard to understand for their age. Speech therapy helps children learn how to produce sounds correctly so they can communicate more clearly and confidently.

What is expressive and receptive language?

4

Expressive language is how a child shares their thoughts, wants, and ideas using words, gestures, or sentences. Receptive language is how a child understands language, including words, questions, and directions.

Some children may understand more than they can say, while others may have difficulty understanding language. Speech therapy helps support both areas so children can communicate more effectively and confidently.
